New Career Path 

After working in education in mainstream for 30 yrs a change was needed

I decided to pursue my own business in working with  Dogs 

In my earlier years of working at a Veterinary Hospital and a lifelong love of animals 

Dogs, Rabbits, Horses etc etc All Animals!

Woody Woods Pet Services became a business named after one of my gorgeous rescued Flatcoated Retrievers. "Woody"made such an impression on my world

I am appropriately licensed by Charnwood Council CBC AAL/021 to board dogs at my home.

The license I hold is 5 stars rated fully inspected by Charnwood Council Animal Welfare Team

I am licensed at the Higher Standards catergory

IMDT Level 3 Professional Home Boarding & Daycare

When your dog stays here he is part of our family 

My main focus is Doggy Day Care, Covid has shown a need for good licensed day care that clients can trust 

I also home board for holidays spaces limited to 1 or  2 dogs due to daycare numbers

My home Boarding price includes a daily of at least an hour (if your dog's health/age allows) in beautiful countryside with lots of opportunities to run off the lead. Please note that dogs are let off lead only with owner's consent, and with an off-lead form completed and signed.

I  also assess recall myself before dogs are let off lead.

I offer a secure paddock walk so all dogs get time free running off lead 

 

I  have a fenced garden double gated where your dog(s) can run around and play

I also have a lawn to play on too, and woodland chip area for the scent enrichment /sensory garden area 

​

All dogs are treated like our family members and have access to the whole property comprising of a front room, a dining room, a kitchen, a hall, a conservatory, and three bedrooms, your dog can take their pick as to where they would like to sleep, if they are partial to sleeping upstairs they can do the same here, on the other hand, if they aren't allowed upstairs then the stairway is gated off.

The dogs can use armchairs and the sofa if you allow, and I also provide comfortable dog beds for them.

Before your first booking is confirmed, I always arrange a trial for your dog 

Covid has changed how we now operate. We have continued post pandemic

Dogs only in our home.  

We are inspected thoroughly by Charnwood Council and adhere to all the Animal Welfare Legislation. Over and above what we need to.

Your dog is safe in our care.

Dogs must be fully vaccinated and insured please

Adult Males Neutered only 

I do not accept bitches in season

I will ask you to fill in a registration form also I need a copy of up to date vaccinations including kennel cough

• I appreciate it may take some time to complete these forms however it enables me  to look after your pup as you would in your home by helping me learn more about them, this makes their stay the best for them and peace of mind for you
